“Live music brings us together”
MUSIC
Music transports the listener. We may experience states of ecstasy or reverie; of love and or unceasing joy; or even that of heartbreak, sorrow, and profound lived grief. When we experience music “live” we may additionally be transported wholly into our bodies (and spirits), whirling, laughing, singing, sweating and experiencing our profound and deep human connection with other people - crowds of old friends and new comrades-in-song alike. We fall in love together, we dance together, and we experience profound intimacy in these inviting and intimate surroundings. There is nothing quite comparable to the experience of live music, pounding through our chests, pouring through our souls, and opening us up to ourselves, the universe, and to one another.
